Rules/Book of the month

Hello, my name is Amy and I Live in Maryland, United States. I am a freshman High School and I am an avid reader, and writer. To find out more about me go to the about page, but i wold like to explain to you the rules of this site. This site is dedicated to other fantasy readers like me and is for  posting fanfiction and editorials for fantasy books only. That means no Sci-fi (as much as I enjoy reading it) or other Genres. If you have questions regarding what is considered fantasy books feel free to email me which is also @ my about page. If you would like to postlinks to your fanfiction, go to the blog and leave comments. I would love your input. As for restrictions to the fanfiction and editorials you write here are the rules:

 1. Do not just post something just to be here. Your fanfiction/ editorial can not be unrelated to whatever book you choose to base it from.

2. Make sure you include a RATING on your work, young eyes may view this site.

3. I would appreciate it if you do not trash someone elses work, like the ongoing Hermione/ Harry and Hermione/ Ron feud. Its pointless and fanfiction is for exploiting alternatives so be open to other ideas. You can however, write a civil editorial explaing why it wouldn't work in the author's mind.

4. ABSOLUTELY  NO plagerizing is allowed. If you didn't think of it don't take credit for it. It is unfair to the original author. If you wish to post a story you think is cool, MAKE sure you include the original authors name.

5. Also on the this page, I will be posting a book/ series of the month. This DOES NOT mean that the book I named is the only book you can post about. It simply means that particular book will be MY focus, and that it is a good book and I would recommend it. Of course, you are free to Disagree with me and you may write an editorial on why you think the book was good/ bad.

6. you may also put prompts up for what ever book you would like at the Prompts page. Please use this format:

7. Also please do not trash the writers. It is rude and inconsiderate. I would like to encourage new writers not dis them. You may have coonstructive critism, but rudeness will not be tolerated.

My focus 4 this month in honor of the movie coming out on the 15nth is the

                    ERAGON TRILOGY !!!

 The Eragon trilogy by Christopher Paolini has been nothing short of thrilling for me so far. I do believe it is well written, and the plot is intriguing. I also think it is very interesting that Chrisopher wrote the first book Eragon, when he was 15. This book is very interesting, and if you haven't read it I encourage reading it. As many know the movie is coming out December 15th in the States, hence why it is the series of the month!!
